Emilie Cassidy

President & Adoptions Director

Emilie has worked with animals all her life, and with Sato Heart Rescue since 2006. Having been born in Puerto Rico, and knowing the sad plight of the stray animals, she was excited to help the rescue.
She and her husband have two teen boys, and three dogs. If she isn’t helping with the rescue, she Is walking her dogs, or at the beach, poop scooping, at the grocery store, doing laundry, or sipping adult beverages with friends.
She has a soft spot for the underdog, the seniors, or the special needs.

Evelyn Johnston

Secretary & Foster Coordinator

Evie relocated from San Diego, CA to Wilton, NH in 2005 to continue raising her three daughters with her husband, Dave.  The love of animals instilled by her parents spans over 6 decades, and she has lived with at least one dog- often more- in her life practically since birth. In addition to walks with her dogs, she enjoys playing in the garden and Grandma time with her grandchildren.

Evie discovered Sato Heart Rescue when looking to adopt a furry friend, and her special love is fostering Satos while they await their forever families.

Cathy Bullard

Officer

Cathy started working with rescue dogs in 2103 at the Animal Rescue League in Bedford.   This was the beginning of a passion for dogs and rescue.   From kennel cleaning to dog walking, fostering, training classes, courses, and conferences as well as transporting and just taking dogs for car rides, nothing has been more rewarding.   She started with Sato Heart 4 years ago and has discovered an amazing group of dedicated people and of course pups.   Bailey her rescue, has taught her valuable lessons in dealing with shy dogs.   She has a soft spot for the shy ones.   Her goal as her nursing career winds down is to foster as much as possible and yes adopt another rescue or 2 or 3. In her free time, she enjoys time with family and friends, knitting, sewing, and traveling with her travel buddies.
